MYSPHERA passes the final stage of European accelerator fiche, and will install a new version of its system of process improvement in healthcare in the Hospital ‘Lorenzo Guirao’ Cieza, in Murcia.

The European Commission launched in the year 2014 the project Future Internet Challenge eHealth (Plug), an accelerator of companies framed in the European program fiware, with the aim of boosting European e-Health industry and compete with new health technologies from the US market.
Fiche selected 80 eHealth sector companies across Europe, among which was MYSPHERA and, after several qualifiers, last held in Amsterdam, last July, the Valencian company was selected among the 20 finalists for the final phase of the project in a real environment and € 220,000 more funding to develop.
This last phase of the project will allow MYSPHERA validate the latest version of its secure identification system and real-time location of patients and hospital equipment. “This is a new version of the system we have deployed in other hospitals, and now supports smartphones, tablets, electronic panels and other cutting-edge devices. With these devices it can identify the patient by proximity safely, and such access medical history therethrough. We have also added new features to make visible the processes of the hospital in real time through these devices, both for health professionals, and for the relatives of patients. The center where the project has begun to unfold is the Hospital ‘Lorenzo Guirao’ Cieza, Murcia, in an initiative promoted by Carlos Arenas, Area Manager of Health IX Murcia, and Gorka Sánchez, Information Systems Coordinator Murciano Health Service and coordinator of the Living Lab fiche in Murcia. ʱ??We are proud to validate such an innovative system that will improve patient safety, healthcare processes and management of hospital resources.
